A delightful illustration of Saint Silas on a maple wooden block, based on traditional Eastern Christian iconography. He was one of the Seventy Apostles and traveled with Saint Paul. They were locked in prison together, but an angel set them free, so his broken chains are shown in the image. He also holds a scroll, a symbol of the Apostles.
On the back, there is a simple, child-friendly prayer based on an Orthodox hymn to the saint.
