A delightful illustration of Saint Nektarios (Nectarios, Nectarius) on a maple wooden block, based on traditional Eastern Christian iconography. He wears bishop's robes, and he holds his episcopal staff. He was bishop of Pentapolis and Aegina. A much-loved modern saint, he was mistreated by many in his lifetime, but left the church with his powerful prayers and hymns.
On the back, there is a simple, child-friendly prayer based on an Orthodox hymn to the saint.
